ACE Honored by Catholic Charities

People and organizations of the University of Notre Dame, including the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE), were honored with special awards from Catholic Charities USA at an Oct. 19 presentation ceremony in the press box of Notre Dame Stadium.

Catholic Charities, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, is presenting special Centennial Awards to 100 recipients through 2010 for their contributions to the reduction of poverty in the US and an extraordinary commitment to the vision and mission of Catholic Charities USA.

ACE joined Mendoza College of Business, Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., and others as Centennial Award recipients.
